• This biomecha is created from Adam, the first Angel.
• This biomecha stand to approximately 40 meters height.
• Powered by an umbilical cable and 5 minutes reserved power when disconnected.
• Capable of creating protective A.T. Fields as well as eroding the A.T. Fields of Angels.
• Its soul is somewhat connected to Rei itself.
• Does not possess the S2 Engine.

Originally, EVA-00 is clad in orange color armor, during the battle against Angel Ramiel, EVA-00 is badly damaged by particle beam and it was then repaired and upgraded with blue armor.
