Evangelion 1st Angel Adam

The first Angel is known as Adam. It appearance resembles the looks of an EVA but it is entirely shine brightly like a light. Adam is discovered in the White Moon buried under Antartica. During the Katsuragi Expedition, and experiment contact with Adam is performed with the use of Lance of Longinus which instead, triggered the Second Impact resulting a massive catrastophy.
All other Angels with the exception of Lilith are descendent of Adam and possesses the "Fruit of Life" which gives the Angels Power and Immortality. (known by mankind as the S2 Engine).
